Anne Jakobs lives and works in Hamburg. Her artistic work includes drawing, painting, photography and film.
Since her studies in art, she has developed a particular fascination with water as a recurring theme. Her paintings often depict beach and harbour scenes, seascapes, swimming pools, and rain-soaked streets — capturing moments where light and water meet.
She learned the techniques of animation at VIA University College in Denmark and later expanded her skills in filmmaking at SAE Institute in Hamburg. While working across various media, painting and illustration have remained constant and deeply personal passions.
